Magnesium too much and lethargic

I get on the supplements hard and obsess about my body 24 hours a day, yes even in my sleep I dream about my body.

This one is out there and maybe you have had this problem. I would say it is unusual, I will mention it anyway. I change my diet up here and there and am tweaking it like crazy all the time. So if I'm using stimulants like a fool I need more magnesium. That is half the reason that you are having high anxiety when flying high with caffeine or other stimulants. Low magnesium is not good and alcohol among other things can lower magnesium in our system. Let's say that I'm squeaky clean and have all stimulants and alcohol out of my life and I started taking magnesium supplements during use to level things out. If I keep going like the habitual person I am I am still taking the magnesium if I didn't pay attention fully to my diet.

What happens now is being really tired which I can think is other things for weeks or months before I figure out that it has been the magnesium. Not only will I be tired, I will have really weak muscles. I can also have shortness of breathe as well. Magnesium can be used to help put you to sleep. This gives you an idea of the lethargy it can have on you if you have to much in your system. Depression gets me low and if I have too much magnesium coming in I could be dealing with serious lethargic, weak, depression. I've got to do all I can to keep my life in order to overcome serious depression bouts.

It is an important nutrient of course and it needs to be in there at needed levels. It is another thing that has to be monitored on a regular basis. If you're using certain drugs or stimulants including or alcohol you may need a little more magnesium if you are experiencing anxiety and tightness in your muscles. If you are one of the few people in the world that isn't using some unhealthy thing you might be ok to get magnesium and calcium from food sources only and have no need for supplementing.
